ACCESIBILITY COMPLIANCE

This Accessibility Compliance Statement pertains to the website – online store www.vectortechnologies.gr, which operates as an e-commerce platform (e-shop) and provides users with the ability to browse, search for products, view product details, add items to the shopping cart, and complete electronic orders, with the objective of serving consumers. The website upgrade was completed on June 28, 2025, by the company Hyper Center – Apostolopoulos Perros Panagiotis, following a commission by the company VECTOR TECHNOLOGIES E.P.E.

The compliance of this digital service with accessibility requirements has been assessed based on the European Standard EN 301 549 (2021 edition) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, at conformance level AA, as established by applicable European and national legislation. The evaluation was carried out using automated tools (specifically, the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool) and was further confirmed through manual testing of key accessibility features, such as alternative text validation, keyboard-only navigation, screen reader compatibility, and interaction with assistive technologies. The website has been fully custom developed and has been tested across widely used web browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Microsoft Edge.

The website is deemed fully compliant with the requirements of Article 22 of Greek Law 4994/2022 (Government Gazette A’ 215/18.11.2022), which transposes Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 into national law, concerning accessibility requirements for products and services. Under this legislative framework, any service provided to consumers after June 28, 2025, must meet specific accessibility standards to ensure equal and inclusive use by persons with disabilities or other functional limitations.

This compliance statement documents the application of all relevant WCAG 2.1 success criteria at level AA, as required by Article 9 of EN 301 549, which serves as the official technical reference within the European Union for digital accessibility. All core components of the website—including hyperlinks, buttons, forms, informational content, navigation mechanisms, content management, and order completion—have been evaluated with respect to their perceivability, operability, understandability, and robustness, in accordance with the defined standards.

This statement constitutes valid documentation of accessibility compliance as of the date of issue, namely June 28, 2025. It should be noted that any future modification, addition, or structural redesign of the website may affect the level of compliance and may require renewed evaluation. For this reason, the platform undergoes an annual review of accessibility to ensure continued adherence to standards over time. Any inconsistencies arising from third-party embedded systems or external services are evaluated independently.

This Accessibility Compliance Statement may be submitted upon request to the competent supervisory authorities, as provided under Article 22, paragraph 3 of Law 4994/2022, and is retained by the contractor as formal proof of accessibility compliance for the project.

For additional information or to report accessibility-related issues, interested parties may contact the contractor’s technical support team (Hyper Center – Apostolopoulos Perros Panagiotis) through the contact information available on the official website of the service.
